Wood competence - training & validation
What is wood competence?
"Wood competence -education and validation" offers a training package specially developed for the wood industry. which consists of a basic part and four profession-specific parts.
Träbransch Norr is one of four nodes in Sweden with T2 Traning as a test center (certified to perform validation)
The TMF & GS union has initiated the initiative.

Competence supply & development
Träbransch Norr is active in skills supply issues to attract pupils and students to the wood industry.
Within 5-10 years, approx. 300 employees will retire in Västerbotten. The industry's digital & automation development is increasing, working methods are changing and we will need higher competence within the companies.
Therefore, we operate at all levels of education by actively working through boards, management work and in competence supply projects.
