Wood competence - training & validation
"Wood competence -education and validation" is specially developed for the wood industry, which consists of a basic part and four profession-specific parts. The training packages are specially developed for employees in the wood industry in consultation with the TMF and GS union.

The training can be combined with validation which is a testing tool to find of individuals hidden competences, but also to find knowledge gaps. Validation can be suitable for those who lack "paper" on their skills and who, for example, need to be able to show what they can do in order to get or perform a job.

Träbransch Norr is the information center in the north that is part of one of 4 nodes in the Träkompetens Sweden network.
Competence supply & development
Träbransch Norr is active in skills supply issues to attract pupils and students to the wood industry.
Within 5-10 years, approx. 300 employees will retire. In addition, the industry's digital & automation development is increasing, working methods are changing and we will need higher skills within the companies.
Therefore, we operate at all levels of education by actively working through boards, management work and in competence supply projects.
